I remember picking up a tabloid in May 1997, must have been the day after he signed, and Collymore was standing in front of the Holte wearing that beautiful new away kit.

If I was to rank the top 5 away kits from the past 50 years:

1. 81/82 European Cup
2. 76-81 Title winning
3. 97-98 Collymore kit
4. 96-97 white
5. 95-96 navy/ 99-00 'sash'.

Yellow and blue combo is what I remember from my early days of watching Villa as being their changed strip. Loved it ever since. Like https://betpokies.com I love it. Do you know what's special about this site? Here you can find interesting reviews of Australian casinos and play on free bonuses, no deposit bonuses! There's a lot of interesting stuff here, so I recommend it.

As a 70s kid I associate it more with SHA. https://www.bcfc.com/news/all/2021-22-blues-away-kit-released

For me there are more associations with the form of Ukraine. However, there is something of the SHA as well.

I'd like to be on a list of my own, so a list of top draw kits:

1. 1956-57 FA cup
2. Le Coq Sportif 81-83 home & away
3. Reebok 99-00 Home ('The 'Merse')
4. Luke home & away
5. Humel 87-88 home & away (The SGT - Spinksy & Birchey, Alan McInally)
6. Asics 93-95 home (The muller)

Hope this helps.

Luke is bad enough. 87/88 pink and red pinstripes, too? You're going on the list again.

I have also reported your post to the moderators in the hope that they take immediate action. It's for your own good.

UPDATED

I think on some of the less important threads, such as those discussing politics or the imminent nuclear apocalypse set to destroy us all, a bit of debate is to be welcomed.

However, for something as important as next season's desired costume, we really need to root out the evildoers and purify the thread. I would urge our esteemed moderators to look at the lists which I have helpfully compiled, below.

I'm not suggesting that the posters in the degenerates list should all be banned. That said, I'm not suggesting that they shouldn't be banned, either.

Now, I don't want to have to add to the list of debauchees above. So please can posters tread carefully before expressing any form of approval for yoghurt adverts, the Hodge monstrosity or the Hearts nonsense we wore a few years ago in the Second Division.

Hopefully this will create a more pleasant forum experience for the decent folk among us.

Just putting it out there, but the Green, black and red number with Muller on the front is my favourite ever away kit..... Mainly because mine has McGrath #5 on the back.  ;)

Time I put my choice out there/on here.

The white Umbro away kit with the claret and blue diamonds down the sleeves from the champions season and before is the best Villa kit ever. It looked brilliant with the light blue shorts too.

My favourite home kit is the lace up one from the first PL season.

Ukraine and SHA do have one other thing in common, both live in the shadow of much bigger neighbours.

In for a penny...
I love the Luke shirt. Before it came along, I never wore a shirt to home games. I wear that one every time now. It's beautiful.
Away, it's the following season's green third kit for me.

I like it when designers have put in a bit more effort than "what did they wear last season? Yeahhh, do that again. Pub?"

Let the lager drinking Stalinist make of that what he will.

Good lad, join the dark side of the naughty list.
