Is there anything in the rules that says we can’t walk out holding the European Cup?

I think they should play a recording of Villa fans singing 'Have you won the European Cup....' on repeat on the tannoys throughout the match.

Borne to the centre circle by some of the players who won it.

To make an even more unequivocal statement against what the ESL would represents, yes, we should walk out holding the European Cup, but flanked either side by someone carrying a banner proclaiming our two subsequent relegations from the top flight.

We should stand still.

Lose the toss, they kick off. All our players just stand still. Let City walk it in, prove the game without competition is dead.

Sounds like a standard Villa Park performance against Man City.

Beat me to it, we did eactly that last year from kick off at Villa Park.

Sanson, Trez and Grealish out. Our options are going to be very limited but I really hope Smith doesn't go for the expected front three of Traore and AEG on either side of Watkins. If ever there was a game we needed a direct option in Davis and a solid midfield set up this is it.

Would that make it a Bourne Legacy?

Fear for us in this one.
For the briefest of times this year I had that thought that i always want going to a Villa game, we can give anyone a game.

Its disappeared to we will probably just roll over.

I’m with you on that one. By and large, since the turn of the year, we seem to have gone backwards. Got to hand it Leeds, they won against this lot with only 10 men. Sadly, I don’t see us matching that. It’s not only us though. Most of the matches seem to have turned into pre season kick abouts. Even the teams that have something to play for seem to be dross.

If we played them when we were scheduled to you would fancy us to win. It's all change since then. 0-3
