Dean going with Plan A.

Does he have anything else?

Not that I'm aware of. The definition of insanity comes to mind.

Have a look at the table.

Indeed, we're down to tenth.

End of the world.

Not impressed with that team at all. All out defence by the looks of it. Playing right into Klopp’s hands. I’m expecting about 25% possession for us. Go on Villa, prove me wrong, I’d be delighted!!

I'd like to see Davis get a runout or two before the season ends but perhaps Anfield might not be the best place to make any drastic changes.

I thought Keinan would be starting today. Come on and get a hattrick later.

He's a miserable and bitter twat, Souness.

I think bringing Nakamba and Trez in are both decent calls, will add work rate and protect the defence more. Hopefully McGinn will show more attacking flair playing higher up the pitch.

Not convinced with Luiz lately, but hopefully he can find some form again today as is a great player sometimes.

Davis unlucky not to start, but think he will come on later in the game anyway.

Great. Souness, Carragher Is bad enough but we’ve got one of our ex strikers saying we only stayed up because of goal line technology within 5 seconds of speaking.

On the other side of the coin Darren Bent says he fancies Ollie Watkins to cause trouble for Liverpool's makeshift defence.

He's still remembered by Benficistas as the most tactically inept Coach they've ever had.

As much as I wanted to see us play 2 upfront , maybe Liverpool away isn’t the place. ( despite their recent form )

Lazy punditry from DB there really.

Mane on the bench for them, that's no bad thing.
But currently he's their totally out of form forward

I wouldn't say I was disappointed with the team selection. Why does everyone think Davis deserves a start after a 15 minute decent performance?

Southgate in the stand, just to confirm he has another excuse for not selecting Jack.
