So on Grealish - if not injured can only be one of:

Had a row with Smith
Some kind of illness
Drunk
Drugs
Broke Covid rules again
Criminal act
On his way oot
Abducted by aliens
Just wants to sing

Should we open a book?

I will concede that KD has something to offer us in some description when he plays with another CF.

Great comeback win which looked unlikely after 70 mins that feels like more than the 3 points gained. I might just crack open my first bottle of wine since Xmas. :)

44 points after 29 games - 18 more than at the same stage last season - and still we get complaints.

The same people that complain win round the world trips yet still ask for somewhere else to go.

Sadly some people just need to be told where to go.

According to the BBC website this was the first game in Premier League history in which every player in the starting line-ups for both sides was born after the first-ever Premier League game, played on 15 August, 1992.

I now feel even older.

Negatives

Very passive and slow for a good 70 minutes. Typified by Luiz looking way off the pace and Sanson under cooked.

The widemen offered nothing in this phase, El Ghazi in particular was utterly anonymous.

Really poor goal to give away too.

Positives

Smith changing shape and finding a reaction.

Davis linked well and was a physical nuisance. Trezeguet injected some urgency, as did Ramsey. I loved him showing Reid over.

The last 15 was night and day. Trezeguet could have had 4! Yes Fulham had retreated, but still, we had been that insipid attack wise, they probably thought it wouldn't make a difference.

Much needed win. We now have more points in the topflight than at any other stage in the past ten years, when we ended with 48. We'll surpass that.

Going into our final run of games now after that result and it's not beyond us to at least get a draw at the Redscouse with their travails this season.

Olbiyun at home should be a win, but this being Villa etc.

Palace away looks eminently winnable as well.  Until you factor in it's Palace v Villa and we never seem to turn up there.

If we can close out the season with at least 15 wins on the board - 6 more than we managed last season - that has to be seen as massive progress.

That last 20 minutes showed the point of Keinan Davis.
Totally agree.
It’s unfair to give him 5 mins here, 3 minutes there and expect an impact.

And in all those cameos, how many times has he played with another striker?
Yes, that's because almost invariably,  Smith won't play that way. Today was a very rare occasion, so that's down to the manager.

Wonder how many times Sanson had his passes and crosses being blocked. French league must be really soft. Can't take that much time to aim a pass in PL.
But then again the same shit happens when Ross try it....and Sanson at least try to win it back when he loses the ball.
The French league is different. We've got two stars on our national strip though. Bises !

Ramsey was the difference, more energy, give and go passing and pestering them in possession
Much prefer 4-4-2 without Luiz who is too static and Sanson is too light weight
