I didn't see the 1st half but managed to tune in for the 2nd.
An unfortunate gift of a goal for them. We looked incapable of creating anything, but the subs made the difference today. Good goals and crosses for the goals. Jack absent again is worrying (I haven't yet caught up on the reason why).
Very happy with the comeback and 3 points. Well done Dean and the Villa boys that finished the game. UTV!

I saw a real energy from Trez and Davies when they came on.
Trezeguet did exceptionally well with 2 great finishes and could have had another 2 goals .
And KD was boisterous in his play a real string display and super assist.
Traroe best piece of business was the set up for Ollie who so pleased he scored .
Mings was absolutely brilliant as Captain and character to make amends for his shocking casual error.
Still buzzing for the 3 points and great to get that victory and at one point was wondering do we even get a shot at goal but as Watkins said the subs won us the game and great credit there .

Well played Deano on the subs. Made at right stage to freshen things as the performance before then was pretty poor and lacking much thirst for goal
Lovely !

For context, we now have 9 more points than last season with 9 games remaining.

Very well put. A reminder of how far we have come.

That game reminded me of the Sheffield United 3-3.  Except this time we were only 1 down so came back to win.  He changed the formation and look what happens!

44 points after 29 games - 18 more than at the same stage last season - and still we get complaints.

The same people that complain win round the world trips yet still ask for somewhere else to go.

Andy, I don’t know what the truth is but, it is certainly not just an injury. For the first time, Jack wasn’t even at the match today. What I am saying is that the club seem to be hiding something. I’m here to be shot down but, let’s wait and see.

Conceded first, won.
No Grealish, won.
No Grealish three goals.
Substitutions changed the game.
Davis, brilliant I thought.
Good finishing and energy from Trez.
Looking up again. Top half.

Downsides,
Midfield.
Creativity (lack of).
Error from Mings.

Who knows, until Smith starts telling us the truth, it may be the last we’ve seen of Jack in a Villa shirt.

What's the truth ?

Delighted to get three points after looking so poor for most of the game. Well done to Deano on the substitutions.

The fact that Ross B was not called from the bench when we were crying out for creativity tells me his days at Villa are numbered.

The coaching staff (especially Terry) need to help Mings cut out the costly errors and I'd like someone to get Traore to eliminate the suicidal cross field balls. (He did very well for the third goal mind).

The midfield again looked disjointed (what has happened to Luiz?) although I preferrred seeing John McGinn further up the field.

Anyway, had you told me last summer we would be comfortably sitting ninth at this stage of the season I would have told you to lie down with a damp cloth on your forehead.  Utv

That last 20 minutes showed the point of Keinan Davis.
Totally agree.
It’s unfair to give him 5 mins here, 3 minutes there and expect an impact.

And in all those cameos, how many times has he played with another striker?
