Also, did he actually ever leave the Villa once he stopped playing? He always seemed to be at Bodymoor Heath. Maybe he stayed to get his coaching badges etc.

I think it's what Mark Corrigan aspired to be in Peep Show before JLB Credit went down the dumper.

Worked part time with some of the youth groups while doing his badges, I think.

I loved to see him in the midfield and I don’t think he ever did miss a header.  We could do with a similar thunderb.... in there again. Great that his leadership is retained within the club.

Yes, he was remarkably good in the air.

In the second leg of the semi against Pulisbrough, Gestede came on
as a sub, clearly to flick on long balls, as 'boro were desperate for a goal. Jedinak told Chezzie and Terry to leave Rudi to him and he won every header. Superb!
