I think it's 15% we are required to make available, but then the away team needs to want that many, too. In total that will be about 7.5k.

The Witton Lane is about 9.5k isn't it?

So there is just an air space between the upper and lower tiers of the new NS, no boxes or executive areas?

It will be a long time before anything of note happens to Witton Lane.

Yep, think everything on the concourse inc toilets are original fit when the cheapskate would have purchased the cheapest of everything.  Upper tier has 5 toilet cubicles for ladies before you even consider the men’s….hot drinks are decanted via a tea urn that when it runs out it runs out and the way they do soft drinks is crazy.

Somebody with half a brain in power or any inclination could improve that concourse experience in one summer easily but we know it won’t.

I think it will happen pretty quickly post Euro 2028.

Not 100% sure, but I would think there will be 1 layer of open fronted boxes (as opposed to the current two layers of glass fronted boxes)

Concourse on Witton lane was never wide enough really. Partly because of lack of space and partly because it was built at Jewson.

I love my seat on halfway line and genuinely think it’s the best view in the ground (apart from the sun in the eyes) but to get to the facilities I need to move all the way inside the ground to avoid the concourse.

Hard to tell from the renders but I don’t think there are any boxes. I think what looks like boxes are actually the walkway to get to lower tier. I am sure they will find lots of corporate seats though!

Boxes are not fashionable anymore, corporate is lounges, bars and padded seats in the stand.

It doesn't look like any type of box area according to this;

http://eplanning.idox.birmingham.gov.uk/publisher/docs/CE842825A08C0186DD0469BAE0D54CFA/Document-CE842825A08C0186DD0469BAE0D54CFA.pdf

Large lounge area, but looks like it just exits into the normal seating area.

Yes, pics are a bit puzzling as, to the untrained (my) eye, they appear to show the rear support steels through the gap between the tiers when surely that space will be utilised. Won't it?

Because the ground level outside was sloped the only way to get around the old north lower was to walk around the back.

I think that is still going to be the case as there are no sign of any exits within the terrace. So I think that is why it’s left exposed as they need as much space as possible for people to move.
