I mean the lower North.

The proposed top tier must be huge then?

There’s a link a few posts above that gives you an idea of the scale.

Amazing, he's still playing. Aged 43.
Blimey, he is as well.

Bear in mind the boxes disappear and the top tier may over hang the lower tier so the eventual height may not be that much higher but loads more capacity for seats.

The view was always so good in upper north because of the boxes. It meant higher up but closer to the pitch!

The top tier is extended in all 4 directions.  At the front it's extended forard a few rows taking out the top layer of boxes.  At the rear it's extended upwards a few rows too.

Hang on, I'll find a pic...

The claret is all new - it shows the extensions to the top tier and the re-profiling of the lower tier.

Yes it will really close that end in and improve both atmosphere and facilities

Yeah, it's a really good stand and as they keep the existing rake in the upper, it will still have a superb view.

I still think we missed an opportunity to go bigger, but all in all to create a stand that good in just 1 season is very good work.

Yeah, I am looking forward to seeing it from the Holte. The CGIs make it look really nice and I like the gap between the roof and the seats as it makes the whole thing look less like a dark pit of despair.

It might even make me see Northers as less of a bunch of cave-dwelling troglodytes who aren't allowed in the magnificent Holte End.  ::)

I wonder what they will do with cup allocations given given north so much bigger. Maybe whole of Witton Lane upper?

Fantastic - thanks for sharing

Tunnel in the corner as always suggested - surely there has to be a provision for a large screen scoreboard - possibly in the roof?

The problem would be then having away fans above home ?

Isn't that what we did with West Ham?

Just stretch the current upper and lower areas towards the Holte until they reach the capacity allowed - i would imagine no further in then half way line
