If the NS roof is being removed this summer, do we think they will have time to install a temporary replacement or is everyone up there getting wet???

Free Villa umbrellas for all NS season ticket holders would be the most cost-effective solution.

Didn't Man Citeh do free cagoules when they were updating Maine Road in the 90s/00s and weren't as objectionable.

No idea, you'll have to ask Kippaxvilla.

They did indeed.  And I can confirm that a week after we beat Manure in the cup final we were 2-0 down at Maine Road whereby we all sang ‘we only hate Man United’  they gave us a standing ovation for that from the side and the Kippax.  So yes very less objectionable.

Ah yes on the day of the ‘accidental’ handball by Keith Curle to give us a penalty against them.

Man City were a proper football club in those days with a genuinely decent fanbase. Now it's just the shell of it's former existence that has no so soul and has been the plaything of some very rich men who pumped zillions of oil dollars into it totally corrupting the beautiful game forever. I don't blame the old school City fans for enjoying the ride though as im sure we would do the same.

I have wondered how their older fanbase feel about it all to be honest.  I do wonder if after a number of league titles, domestic cups and a Champions League, there comes a bit of fatigue with it all.

I used to work with a Man City fan - 4th or 5th generation Man City fan, he’d been going since the mid 80s. Proper down to earth lad. Followed them home & away, loved chatting with him about random games … flying out to the Faroe Islands for an away game in Europe convinced they’d lose.

He stopped going few years after the 2nd takeover. Said his heart wasn’t in it any more, club had changed to be something he didn’t like. Still loves football, was working at the national football museum last I heard of him, but yeah … not been to a game for over a decade now. Shame really.

I thought it more a play on the fact that geographical location of most of their rival fan base was let us say not all that local to them.

A Blues equivalent would have been profanity laden and focused on Villa too.

Yeah and it's the same bollocks they would peddle, 90% of the genuine mancs I've known were reds.

Well to be fair in those days they were the Small Heath equivalent up there.  I just found them less objectionable.
