Don't forget  Blose need to liaise with Birmingham Council with their project, plus Government with the new transport links. The Council can't even sort out the farcical bin strike! This redevelopment won't happen on time and will end up costing far more than anticipated. They won't make the play-offs now and will finish mid-table. They thought promotion would be a cakewalk! They have a dud of a manager and a bang average squad. They are miles off becoming any type of force.

Their owners already have a stake in the Birmingham Phoenix cricket team and there a rumours that they are interested in a rugby team as well.

I hope it’s not the Saints, long thought Saints should join V-Group and share intelligence.  We could learn a lot about how to run a youth system and community engagement from them.  They would benefit from our fanbase and maybe the odd game at villa park.

I'd fucking love this, Both my teams together would be great but more importantly how they've structured the academy and handle the transition into the first team is something every other club in the world could do with looking into, the sheer amount of saints academy graduates forming the backbone of both their squad and the England squad is truly impressive. If you get it right to the degree they have getting world class players through the ranks becomes a regular occurrence, right now I can think of 3 or 4 saints academy players who'd get into every international squad on the world, which is truly ridiculous and there's 3 more I think will add to the list in the next couple of years.

We've managed a 150 years without lighting our own farts and stickings fingers in each others arses and eyes, it's a no from me.

It'd be amazing to hear the Holte belting out The Fields are Green and Swing Low, Sweet Chariot.

I'd say there's a pretty decent chance that could happen tomorrow, Gloucester vs Leicester, I'll be there so I'll let you know!

Primtime Villa has some pics up. Didn't realise the old block R had steps that went upwards- makes sense I suppose given the North is elevated, but that concourse must be so narrow and small.

Only slightly less bad than the thought of the Holte belting out KRO.

Yep, from the holte end at the rugby today it was pretty clear that a lot of work had been done around the sides of the stand, what used to be the corner flag restaurant was clearly half demolished.

Always weird that we had a 1990s redbrick semi detached house annexed to the North.

It was when Peter Ellis ruined the whole ground. He disfigured the Trinity so much it couldn’t be listed and covered the Holte in red and brown cladding!
