Which goes to support the theory that the downgrade of the North and Warehouse was done as a medium-term improvement.

That said, on the tour I went on last week, we were told that the club are about to spend millions on new dressing rooms ready for 2028.

What was the downgrade on the Warehouse?

Using the existing (old Stumps) building instead of Purslow’s new-build Villa Live thing.

The original plans were a new build with shops, offices and a museum. The version we are getting reuses an existing building.

For both to be downgraded makes you think. That plot next to Electric Avenue wouldn't be the best location for housing, surrounded by the industrial units tbh. ...but fine for a stadium?

Maybe, but it’s next to existing housing and as I say, in the local growth plan that area is slated for change of use - from industrial to housing.

Didn’t we get permission for something like taking a bit of the Aston Hall land too? That’d indicate that the work on Villa Park hasn’t finished yet, and support the idea of us staying put and expanding the Witton Lane stand out.

(I’ll admit I’m a massive optimist in these things, and it’s as much what I *want* to happen rather than having any basis in fact or reality)

It could be anything. It’s near to the inner city academy.

He took it down quickly and asked someone to DM him so it’s likely club contacted him.

It's in the public realm now it's all on Companies House.

Yes that’s what he published then took down quickly and when asked why asked the person to DM him!

Looking at Companies House, there are two charges on that bit of land dating from April and November last year.

Whatever they're planning, I just hope it's got chimneys or what's the bloody point?

Modern houses don't seem to have chimneys. I still think it looks a bit odd.

Why would we do the warehouse, improve the club shop, spruce up three stands, and redevelop the North Stand only to move to a new stadium?

It would be more likely linked to redeveloping the Witton Lane Stand. That said, I am not getting too excited just yet

Aren't these charges against land we already own though? Those on Tame Rd associated with the inner city academy. I dont think this is news of land acquisition for that allocated land.
