It's great to see that works have started, Can't imagine the demolition of those auxiliary structures will take too long either

I have seen on Blues fans mocking our ‘ small’ construction work

i know i shouldn’t even mention it but fuck me the brass neck , they haven’t even put a spade in the sand .  They are ridiculous surely they know to keep their powder dry 😳😃

Looks like work has commenced. Corner Flag restaurant is coming down.

Hope the original Trinity Road Stand bricks (in retaining wall) don't get skipped.

I'd imagine that, once they start digging, they'll unearth a few bricks from the original Lower Grounds
I was always confused by the building on that side of the old Witton End that still had 'Aquarium' painted on it until it's demolition to make way for the North Stand!

Bless. They have an AI picture of a load of chimney stacks to get excited over.

Never knew any original bricks were still around. Which retaining wall?

Yep there is a wall between the Trinity and the North that has an original wall which could be from the original Trinity or even the Lower Grounds building.

Thanks London Villan. I'm no expert on the old wall, I only know about it because someone from this parish highlighted it earlier in the season.

It’s all covered in the Simon Inglis book. It’s the last remaining brickwork from the lower grounds so pre dates the original Trinity. It’s the wall that was visible on the old photos linking the old Trinity to the Aquarium. Nowadays below the corner flag which will be imminently demolished!

Well, if Heck was still here, you'd be able to buy one for £500 to go next to your framed Duran/Bayern goal net.

yes also think it will really enclose the ground and make the atmosphere even better

I hope so. The atmosphere  wasnt great yesterday  considering  wolves is a bit of a 'derby'

The lack of home saturday afternoon/evening games does have a impact

It was quiet v Palace but noisy v Bournemouth of the games I attended.

On TV the other league games prior to Wolves sounded pretty good as well. Europa league seems to be a bit quiet too.
