Does the club sell blocks of tickets to secondary sites? I remember Dave W saying you could buy GA+ on seat unique.

Not sure if they sell blocks but they are putting out seats to reseller sites to ramp up sales and promote the hospitality product.
Wolves is currently 115 quid a pop in the lower grounds on seat unique.
I have just settled for three tickets (together) in the cheap seats, purchased with no membership (i refused to renew)
47 quid adult and 13.50 for the young one.
Football will eat away at us and we will give up once the cheapest ticket hits 50 unless my salary doubles anytime soon.

Seems to be a football wide issue currently. Man. City don't sell out bar the top games although they are extending by another 8k.

Also just had a doom scroll through instagram and seems Spurs had 15k empty seats for the FC Copenhagen game last week. They have probably featured in CL ten times since 2010 so guess they have the apathy for that we already seem to have for Europa league.

Clubs would rather have 40k in who'll spend endless amounts around the whole site for 3-4 hours either side of the game and 10k empty seats than 50k turning up and leaving and barely spending a penny on site in the modern era.

Seems to be the case.

All true.  But the point remains that we had a load of unsold hospitality seats on Sunday.  Many of those could and would have sold as standard seating and produced additional income for the club.
I have just come back off holiday and the speaking to people on the resort as you do the subject came round to "Who have you booked with, Where have you flown from etc"

We booked ours very last minute and got a deal no one could believe - in fact there were quite a few that had paid over £1000 more than us for the same holiday and they were really not happy. Imagine if you had paid for the posh seats only to find fans in there that paid a fraction of what you did?

You are right, conversation always does come around to that on holiday, until it gets to my turn, I couldn't give a fuck what anyone else has paid around the pool, even less who they booked it with.

If GA+ tickets were regularly discounted in the run-up to the game, then no one with any sense would pay the original price.

Except the fans who’d paid a fraction of the price wouldn’t have the hospitality, just a seat.

& actually a lot of GA + tickets are just among normal seats anyway so this happens regardless.

I'm surprised they haven't delayed the tournament to wait for the Sports Quarter.

They won't be interested in the Euros, they'll get one over the Villa by having the World Cup.
