Attendance was just under 41k, Bournemouth had a few hundred empty seats...and the rest prob the GA+. I noticed a few again bottom corner of the North, right in sight of the TV cameras. Needs sorting.

I bet the sale of programmes (unless special ones like Champs league) dont sell anywhere near what they used to. I would imagine anyone under 35 has never bought one.

Please tell my 9 and 10 year old lads they don't need one for every bloody game.

Max from Villa On Tour sampled the Trinity hospitality in his vlog for the Bomo game. What an awful sentence...

Anyway, he said you get a lot more bang for your buck than a similar GA+ he did last season (albeit which wasn't as fancy).
Him and his missus drank as much as they could, they were both pissed by the end of the video. But they were speculating that the offers are being tailored more generously now (i.e all you can eat/drink as opposed to drinks vouchers) which may be due to the poor uptake.

There was a load of unsold hospitality seats in an otherwise pretty much sold-out game on Sunday.  The large block in the Trinity upper was particularly noticeable, but there were gaps in the North and Witton too.

This was an attractive game against a direct competitor for league placings at a time when VP is a fortress where we've only lost once in the last 24 games.

At what point do the club have to realise that there just isn't the demand for certain games and release these tickets for general sale within a timescale where they could realistically be sold?

What's with the big block of empty seats in the upper Trinity?

These are the most expensive seats where you cannot buy concession seats - you pay the same price regardless of if you are 5, 35 or 75 years old.  At the moment the club cannot sell these out, which goes back to my point earlier that the club has got to review the price points, but more importantly what they are doing to price out potential future fans.  The very least they could do is allow these seats to be sold to concessions like elsewhere in the ground.

With the seats that we couldn't buy on Sunday, I can accept to a degree that as these were resale tickets then the club wants full value for them.  My problem is that it was clear 24 hours before the game that they were not going to sell, yet they preferred for them to remain empty (so generating zero revenue) than to offer the concession rate for us to bring a child along with us.

The one they did was circa £350 each, previously they had done  cheaper one - I assume the Lower Grounds etc is still drinks vouchers?

The 150 Club where we have Brad Carter our Michelin Chef would have set you back £700+ each for the Citeh game

On reselling the Hospitality seats - what price? Those buying will expect a half-way line seat for example for the amount they pay.

On a slight tangent, i was impressed with the Bournemouth turnout - when I looked across and saw their upper tier mostly full I wrongly assumed it was Villa up there, but it wasn't.  Hats off.

I bought seats for Arsenal the other day, and they were £58 or £71 in North Upper. So, needing two I bought an Adult in the £58 zone, right next to a full price £71 which I got as a child ticket for £20 (it would have been £20 for the child in either seat).

The big block of empty seats in the middle of the upper Trinity at most games now is not even GA+ though - they are just normal seats, and everyone has to pay full whack in the highest price category regardless of age etc.

They have done so many good things but pricing has been so ill-judged it's unreal. If fans are truly customers then it makes good business sense to look after them and keep them coming back.

Well we have a brand new Senior leader for both football operations and Business - i am sure the business guy has already got his plans in place to increase revenue and the first thing should be a full VP every game
