Any update on when the warehouse might open? How’s it looking?

Still around Christmas as far as I know. We could see the front of it from the raised bit behind the North stand when we left the ground on Thursday. I think it looks impressive.

I can’t wait til it’s all done and to be in 50k crowd at VP again. Last time was Man Utd in 77/78 I think.

The Warehouse will add a new dimension to match day but it’ll be pretty established by the time the North Stand is complete.

It was against the noses in September 1976.

After the Bologna game, where the attendance was 20k down on the projected new capacity, and today when there were large clusters of empty seats in the Upper Trinity, I've been wondering whether we will need the added capacity. Or whether the club will need to look at pricing again.

It's a mixture of things. The demand was certainly there in 2019-20, and from the season after covid until now.

I think the prices are an issue but it seems to happen us where when the mood isn't great attendances drop off.

We rely on a certain amount of floating fans,  who don't want to come on a Thursday and Sunday, and frankly, I don't blame them.

The idea that we have a bottomless pit of supporters was always fanciful for me. When we are doing well, 55k is not enough, when we struggle 40k is too much.

35k v Bologna, 40k today. Fulham took the full allocation but loads were unsold.

Not as far as I know, Fulham took the full allocation and were offering fans 2 tickets per person this week.

Seems we kept the upper tier being available quiet again. Which makes little sense. How it seemed to work is they have the option for the full allocation but can only sell lower tier to begin with, based on sales they can then take the upper tier. When teams don't take it we really should make it known as it will be way easier to get tickets together up there than other stands.

It looked like Villa in the upper tier to me. Seemed to be some Villa shirts.
