Not sure if this has been posted. Interesting to see Villa already own that Victorian hall next to the Aston Hotel.

I wonder how many punters could be catered for around VP on matchday if they snapped up and repurposed adjacent properties alongside the Warehouse, Holte Suite, Holte Hotel etc?

I noticed in that growth zone plan the council said they would support the establishment of a high quality hotel in the area.

I think Everton's new stadium is outstanding, albeit a touch tight on capacity.

The Millennium Stadium in Cardiff could do with aesthetic improvements externally, but inside is an incredible stadium.

Not all new stadia are soulless bowls.

I love VP, but you can easily link the lower tiers and still retain the 4 stands look.  I also think a horseshoe of the Trinity, North and Witton with the Holte as a feature single tier stand would look great.
The "horseshoe" idea really appeals to me with a free standing Holte. Make the upper Holte wider and squared off but that would require a brand new cantilever roof.
Dougs penchant for "goalpost" roof supports, which i guess must have been cheaper, makes it much more difficult to expand.

It's worth losing a couple hundred seats to stop this joining-up-stands nonsense.

It's un-English.

Villa Park was originally a bowl shape. As was the original Wembley. Don’t get much more English than that.

If you type AVFC AMENDED MASTERPLAN into the ‘search document’ box a map comes up, in which the land Villa own is within the blue line.

Don’t know, it was news to me. I remember when it was a roller disco! The purchase of the Aston Hotel seems to make even more sense now. Quite a sizeable plot with that and the Warehouse.

Slavery is going strong in my house with the wife and two grandchildren all playing the boss man, which authority do I get in touch with?
