Real issues at Witton station yesterday looking at a few videos on X yesterday (this was while the game was still ongoing).

Has it been confirmed the Walsall-Wolves line going every 20 minutes in a few years as trains every half an hour isn't really going to cut it with 50k.

Or is it just painting a few railings at Witton as part of the redevelopment? I think in the original plans a couple of years back there was plans for a pedestrian tunnel to link to the new academy and car park the other side of Witton station but get the feeling that has been quietly dropped....

I don't think the tunnel has been dropped. The whole point is to have a new station with more then the current entrances they have now for the Euro's because the current ones are just a massive bottleneck.

But we obviously won't know until any plans are officially in place.

Wembley has queues at stations after the game too… Wembley Park in particular and that is with tube frequency.

Think it’s just a fact of large crowds leaving at the same time. We can mitigate but not eliminate.

I hope they crack on soon, the North is ready for some work on it. There are a few parts that need sprucing up all over the ground e.g. that plastic corrugated roof on the staircase between the Trinity and the Holte is awful.
I am very pleased with the new toilets in the North stand this season.

Yes, most grounds do. I have experienced queues at stations near Stamford Bridge and Emirates.

Every large sporting venue that has a reliance on public transport for people to get away from ground afterwards struggles with queueing after an event. Villa Park wouldn't be so bad if they could actually organise the queues better and let adequate numbers on platforms and trains.
