If only we’d worked this out years ago
Guess it tool a proper, top tier company that has done this sort of thing before to buy into the club to work it out!!

There's plans to add 1500 onto the capacity by making the middle and lower tiers of the Trinity a single tier. They're in the New North plans.

Not explicitly in the plans - might be a separate planning application if the work is significant enough. Looks like the seating alignment will use the current lower tier entrances and exits and remove the middle tier ones (for the GA seats). Makes sense as we all use the same concourse.

Won't the dignitaries and VIPs in the middle Trinners have something to say about having to rub shoulders with the hoi polloi and accommodate their working-class mannerisms?

And don’t forget - as I first noticed 😉 - Trininity being changed from three tiers to two in the plans.

What are you talking about?

If what you meant to write was “please can you explain” then have a look at the picture I posted earlier in the thread. It’s now formally included in the plans.

Apologies for the abruptness.

I think it’s assuming too much to say it is in the plans in the basis of a sketch in the background, though.

That lower level that appears to be going is where the wheelchair users go. Its perfect for them as it's straight in off street level. Does anyone know where they will be moving to under these plans? Also looking at the drawing the front left corner of the Trinity appears to have its view blocked similar to the Holte/Witton corner. That was a dogs dinner put in by Doug. I really hope they dont make the same mistake here.

Here’s the aspiration for bowl optimisation which I can only see as converting 3 tier Trinity into 2 tier. Also mentions  greater offer for accessible seating.

They have already created new area for wheel chair users in the changed Witton. There is a chance that might be seen as a replacement instead.

When you look at that, the wasted space between the HE and TR is really evident.

Closing in the corners must be 4-5000 seats in the medium term surely? Get VP up to 56-57k then you need to massively refurb the internals to up the corporate offer.

Definitely. Look how wide the Upper North is compared to the Holte. I'm sure our cash strapped council could sell us a bit of the park. Divert the Trinity Road over by 25/30 meters which would give us so much more space in that corner of the ground.
