Sorry Percy it was a comment I heard a while ago and suggested it was owned and financed by the council so could not be purchased for commercial gain.

Not 100% on how true that is but it would make sense if the club could to buy up all the land between VP and Witton Station as a lot of it is a complete shithole with car breakers and car washing business which I'm not even sure are legit.
