They can fuck off with that shit.
Money grabbing is going to far now

What's the beef, is extra income stream. For what it is worth the Glos fans are also bemused that the venue is nearer the away team than the home team so giving away home advantage.

I’m confused. Home advantage isn’t gained by being close to a geographical position. It is from having the most fans in the stadium.

You genuinely don't see the correlation betwen the number of fans in attendance and the proximity of the venue to where they live? Genuinely?

Not if both sets of fans have the same allocation. See any match at Wembley.

I can’t see the issue, it’s a good use of the facilities rather than lying dormant.
Primary concern would be the pitch but the people in the know would have given the ok.

Same here, I've no problem with it as long as Nev and LeeB get a chance to buy tickets for it.

We *should* have a stadium that’s in use more than any practically any other, that much has been obvious since the days we regularly hosted FA Cup Semi Finals.

We have - mostly, but not entirely, down to location - the best stadium in the country for such things. We should be making the most of that.

Can someone confirm as to whether the Warehouse was sold in the same deal as the women's team? I saw it mentioned once but nothing since.

Biggest outdoor stadium venue in the second city and for many miles around as well, which they have recently seemed to have cottoned on to given the size and number of acts that have played there the last couple of summers.

Not yet. In footballer terms it’s being developed right now, with one eye on a sale to the owners in the future for PSR purposes. They think it will be worth around £50m.

Hopefully if this scheme is successful it will be followed up by similar scams with the Holte Hotel, the Rat Pan, the Majestic, the Aston Tavern, the Witton Arms and my personal favourite the Aston Hotel, although I’m still trying to work out why the latter can’t be bought  according to Hookey because it’s a full HMO. I did ask but he hasn’t replied.

If we played a home game anywhere else we’d still be given most of the tickets and they’d get fewer. I’m guessing from your reaction that my misunderstanding is about how rugby tickets are shared out between home and away fans.

Jesus fucking Christ, can you imagine the state of the fucking place?

I've already made a mental note to keep out of town that day as well.

There's been an incredible amount of non football activity at Spurs' stadium the past few weeks - off the top of my head several nights each of Beyonce, Lady Gaga and Chris Brown, Stray Kids (K pop apparently), Eubank and Benn and, tonight, a second helping of Kenny Lamar.

Conversely, there's been very little extra curricular stuff at Arsenal.

Quite possible if we don’t raise our game. But if we do, there will be stiff competition, with both venues bidding to be used, which won’t be good for the business plan. Same with their indoor arena - two already in the city. £3bn for a market that’s already catered for?

We’re approaching 1.5m visitors a year at Villa Park - we need to keep pushing that upwards and finding ways to help them (us) spend more money while they’re (we’re) there. So much potential.

It's going to be terrible, fans of both clubs sat in the same stands without feeling the need to fight each other, fucking awful.

Plus, drinking is allowed while watching rugby. How do they ever enjoy themselves.

Arf!
But willing to heap misery on the working classes by voting Tory, braying about Brexit, calling football "wendyball", labelling everything they don't like woke, singing incomprehensible, tuneless songs with at least 35 obscene verses and seeing nothing wrong whatsoever with necking a pint through a used jockstrap.
