Hmm, I remain to be convinced. Have we done 'Live, Love, Laugh' on the left-hand side?

It’s great. They are trying to enhance Villa Park versus moving to a soulless empty bowl or modern stadium. I’m sure Everton’s new ground will be ace from a modern amenities standpoint but it won’t have any of the history or charm that comes with something built when football actually connected with regular fans. I know it’s getting harder for us to do that in the modern era but we are still putting the effort in to making Villa Park a ground that most fans would say is what a football ground should feel and look like.

Probably ‘My Holte’ as that’s the other half of what they’re saying on the video they’ve put out.

Agreed. Long may it continue - or as long as we stay there anyway. There’s so much they could do.

The thing about Spurs’ ground increasing their revenue by so much is not only the increase in capacity - it’s the fact that people are spending more time - which obviously translates to more money - there. That’s why the environment and facilities are so important. There’s so much we could do, given our setting. Great to see they’re thinking about this stuff.

It’s brilliant…..more touches that differentiate us from everyone else.
We have a rich, deep history and heritage to draw all of these inspirations from.

No doubt moaners will moan though.

"My home" is a bit naff, IMO.

I'm not mad on the 'my home' wording either but it looks great.

I hope that's just an unfortunate angle, because the lion looks like I've drawn it.

(I'm shit at drawing.)

The steps are great and I hope its a permanent paint job. Everything and anything to make Villa Park unique and peerless in the football world gets my vote - speaking of which, I'd love the Club to install more mosaics around the ground so that it is a common theme on all four stands. The new North Stand and even the new electricity substation built beside the Holte car park would certainly look more "Villa" with mosaics (maybe Villa could run a design competition for local schools to help design them?)

That's horrible, they've ruined the steps.

They did not need that

I like it, a nice tribute to that tramp that lived there for a while.

Badge should never be on the ground where it's stepped on.

It's okay if it's the rubbish badge.
