I am annoyed at myself for getting my hopes up that those drawings posted the other week might be genuine.

It's so frustrating. The dogs on the street know that 42000 is inadequate right now and all this bloke is interested in is a bit of DIY here and there
The drawings still might turn out to be geniune. They are clearly up to something regarding the North Stand roof support. They've not removed a load of cladding for no reason.

Meanwhile, it strikes me just how comfortable Elmer Fudd seems on camera.

Why don’t we have a banner at the next home game demanding that the clubs owners spend £400 million + on a new North Stand or we want them to sell the club

It is there money they will spend it how they want!!

Maybe when they sell the club the next owners will give us a new North Stand

We all moan about paying extra for tickets but we expect our owners to just pump millions into the club every season

£400m?

Is it on the moon or something? Or has Trump levied tariffs on it?

That’s right because that’s genuinely what people are saying isn’t it?

That's kind of necessary when you own a football club. Plus the fanbase has still been coughing up the extra cash for tickets, so we're doing our part. (I'm not)

The club is easily worth ten times what they paid for it and, besides, they got to within a couple of months of starting a £120m rebuild project in 2024 so relatively recently they felt it was a good investment.

What changed, we can only specualte, but we seem to thinking more short-term these days

Probably Egyptian pounds, given Nas is one of our owners.

More cladding removed from the roof. Something is definitely happening.

Yeah, was in the Holte today and the North Stand roof did look different.

Yes. Though here's the thing. There was no need for last week's update. If there had been no update nobody would have batted an eyelid which is why, if something is happening, it is odd that they didn't wait until there was something big and exciting to announce

Update from the club's favourite American.

https://www.avfc.co.uk/video/7e336d37-371b-46fc-a0db-624ca3af2e2e

No confirmation of the North Stand revised plans...

All looks great. No expansion of the North stand in any of that, just improved facilities.

To be fair if they're going to expand the North Stand they will also have to improve the facilities. I mean they need to improve the facilities anyway but especially if they're thinking of increasing the capacity.

Yep. By stripping out the offices and kitting it out with more food/drink facilities screams of a stand expansion. Makes sense that they’re not going public yet, after the hash they made of the last PR campaign.

Attendance broke a million for the season today for the second season in a row. Last season was the first time since the late seventies. At least four games left, hopefully five.

More seats please.

Heck's doing a great job getting the punters in.

He does say on that video that the North Stand is something we are looking at.

Seems relatively obvious there’s a feasibility study in progress. They announced we were going to do this in 23.
