There's no site better than Villa Park for transport links in Birmingham. Until they sort that out there's no point in even thinking about moving.

Shitehead would've built one under the Mersey to Birkenhead, and one to Ireland.

I do wonder if the Mersey Ferries will run special services going something like Liverpool - Woodside - Seacombe - Bramley-Moore Dock for folk travelling from the Wirral.  Be a great way to go to a match anyway

The home end looks ace from inside.  Mate-of-a-mate went to the Under 18s game and sent a video from there.  Really steep stand, rail seating ... looks properly nice.  Though very mixed feelings about leaving Goodison for it, regardless of how nice it is inside.

I went past Parkhead recently and noticed there was very little around it, has it always been that way or did Celtic buy up houses and land around it to demolish and expand?

I suspect this is what’s happening.

We know the Club said in 23 that engineers were looking at options within the stadium bowl.

I suspect the removal of cladding on the goalpost on North Stand roof is some kind of testing. And if it’s feasible they’d probably look at summer of 26 to increase capacity ahead of Euros.

Which is the problem with a lot of new grounds, there is nothing around them and the transport links are crap. 'Boro, Pride Park, Bolton, Stoke, Brighton for example.

I recall from Simon Inglis' 'The Football Grounds of Great Britain' that Celtic had to do some sort of deal with the authorities because one of the stands overhung a cemetery, and the deceased had been promised an uninterrupted view of the sky.
