Bill Ward back on drums too.
I quite fancy this. With that many bands, the chances of me still being conscious when Sabbath arrive are slim, though...
Sounds a great gig if that's your thing, also the profits going to charity is fantasticOn the negative side though, I might give the 1st home game next season a miss as it will probably be a sh*tshow(or p*ss) as they probably won't get any summer works finished by that time!!!
Heck did similar at the 76ers. Some of the things he talked about was making their brand cooler with gigs, celebrity endorsements and limited edition apparel. Most are happening at Villa.
I see in an article by the BBC that the intention is to redevelop Villa Park for any potential World Cup 2030 bid. I would be surprised if we did not demolish the oeth Stand before then.Could we be the Witton going as Phase II?QuoteAston Villa is one club who will offer full support for any bid and plan to upgrade Villa Park to ensure it meets Fifa guidelines for the tournament.Villa Park has a rich tradition of hosting major occasions, including three games at the 1966 World Cup, four Euro 96 games and a total of 16 internationals. It was the first English stadium to host internationals across three different centuries and has also staged a record 55 FA Cup semi-finals as well as the 1999 European Cup Winners' Cup Final between Mallorca and Lazio.

Since then we've had renders, planning permission, a timeline and a cancellation. Almost four years later we are no closer to genuine expansion and modernisation of Villa Park. In that time Everton have built an entire new stadium and several other clubs have advanced redevelopment plans. We started the decade with big plans and will likely finish the decade still with the structures we had in 2000. For me, that's what I will remember the post Purslow era for.
