I always wondered what the downstairs bar was like...

It reminds me of this place in Salford:

Flat roof pub just outside Salford train station, Chico of these parts probably remember it. I went in once to order a taxi.

I dont think even those flats are still there these days.

The pub shut down ten years or so ago, don't know about the flats, haven't been round there for a good while.

The big question is how much are they going to charge to get in "the team bus experience"

Do you mena the temporary thing they've put up in the car park? If so I saw something saying it was £5 and you'd get a welcome drink included. Can't remember where I saw that though.

I thought it might be, man that's a depressing place. The estates of Chelmsley and Castle Vale over our way got some stick down the years but they're like shining cities on the hill compared to most of the rest of the city now.

The (old) Shareholders is still in use as a building - looks like a mosque of some sorts.

The Gladiator no less.  I used to frequent the Cartland Arms in Kings Norton.  That was Covent Garden by comparison.

My mate used to live in the block of flats you can see in the background and we went in there a few times. It was exactly as rough as you'd expect but his neighbour was a regular and 'invited' us so we never had any bother.
