Or yellow paint on their shoe soles, giving away their path home on foot.

The communication has been absolutely awful and just erodes trust.

All summer we've heard about these fantastic new lounges and offerings and how great they are. I've had loads of phone calls and emails trying to sell me them.

So absolutely nothing led me to expect this view of a building site from my seat on Saturday;

They seem to have made those boxes indoor again, I was in the one closest to the Holte last season against Brentford and you had a balcony where you sat outside to watch the game.

Are they not restaurants/bars rather than boxes now? ie you eat your scoff before the match, and then walk outside and take your seat for the game? Although I can't see many places where you'd be able to get outside easily.

Yeah that should be the Villans lounge and 150 Club.

Just a thought, didn't Liverpool develop their main stand and Anfield Road stand behind and around the existing meaning neither had to close?

They've built a new vomitory/entrance at the back of the middle block of the lower Witton - I assume this is where the prawnies get in and out. That said the block was only 1/2 full for most of the game on Saturday.

When I spoke to a steward about the wet paint in the DE stair-wells, he said that when they arrived in the ground , the concourse was full of builder's equipment and they had to race against time to clear it all away.

They had space after fucking over their local community over the last few decades.  We don't.

If only there was a 60,000 all-seater stadium locally we could share whilst Villa Park was redeveloped.

It looks like Villa are reposting all the hospitality adverts on social - so they don't have all the comments following the feedback from Saturday. Be a shame if they were all commented on again...

Yeh I knew it - it is early for me.  Manure likely to have a new stadium though.   Palace, no one cares.  It is the likes of Everton potentially overtaking us on revenue and obviously stadium quality that concerns me.

It was a good point. I've long been in favour of a new stadium and things like Saturday do nothing to change my mind. I've been past Everton's new stadium twice this summer on the ferry, and it looks absolutely incredible.

Will look even better half full in the championship - they look doomed

Just saw my pal (and chief Zulu) and his apprentice up the shops. He said ‘What’s happening? I hear you couldn’t get in the ground Saturday?’

I told him I haven’t been able to get in for years, and he said ‘you should take a leaf out of Blues’ book’.

I said ‘What? Get 11,000?’

‘When was the last time the Blues got 11,000?’ he asked.

‘Tuesday night’ I said, and his mate burst out laughing as I walked away jauntily.

I could just hear him shouting ‘in the cup’ over the laughter.
