I blame people insisting on drinking pints of beer in football grounds if they’re moaning about the service.  It’s virtually always in plastic glasses, ‘pints’ are half full.  The beer is warm and tastes like cats piss and it costs a fortune.  Unless it’s changed since I last had one in 2003.

Only the price has changed

Looking for any positive news, is anyone able to report on how the shuttle buses operated between the city centre and Villa Park before and after Saturday's game?

And are all the "Villa Squad" helpers still gorgeous women?

I am starting to see a pattern regarding who gets employed at Villa these days.

At least they’ve got something right then!

I was at the Inter Milan game for Kent Nielsen's screamer - did you change your name when we signed Darren Bent?

Me too, one of my favourite ever games!
The powers that be changed a load of people’s names when Bent signed and mine’s never changed back, not that I’ve asked.

No fun zone. My matchday with two little kids just fell apart :/
Not sure it’s going to work any more.

You can't split up with the Villa, she's given you everything.

We got it back to Town. Incredibly slow getting onto Lichfield Road but once it was beyond Rocky Lane it was fine. Full as well

The biggest  problem with VP is the DE stand. I can understand not going ahead with the North Stand because you are still left with the Doug legacy which is not fit for purpose.
I do wonder if they are in discussions to see what is possible.
If there is no chance of developing the Witton then I can not see any future for Villa Park.

I sit in there and agree it’s awful, inside, the gangways etc.
But why is it the ‘biggest’ problem?

It is the most limited in terms of space, there is room to do stuff at either end and the Trinity is relatively modern. So without extending over the road we are stuck with a stand that has huge limitations.

There's no way they're planning to move from Villa Park in the next 5-10 years I reckon.

Don’t necessarily think it’s the biggest problem but it is part of the issue in that if it was just the North that needed replacing and the rest of the ground was fit for another decade or more it made more sense to do the North.  Reality is that if they’d spent 3 years doing the North the Witton will continue to degrade and need replacing shortly after.  Thats why for the last 18 months or so my preference would always be for a new ground
