Has it been stated what the capacity will be next season after all the renovations / changes to seating layout?

No but the 2800/3000 seats we were promised by Heck ain't happening. If anything it will be less than last season. When it was first suggested that the might be able to gain extra capacity by rejigging the seats it was a very dubious claim anyway.

Maybe the Redfilth should build their new stadium in the South east to be closer to their core glory hunting support

Yep, closer to the English Channel.

Or, preferably, in it.

La Manchester Stadium.

Hope you’re right but not sure how you arrive at your conclusion on the basis of a WIP video.

I looked at it and compared it to what it looked like before and saw that a) it’s bigger, and b) it looks like a much more professional retail outlet.

For those with access to The Athletic, there's a very interesting article on there about the problems affecting Barcelona and looking at the financial mess they've got themselves into.

They're really deep in the mire financially, and the cause(es):

Huge investment on borrowed money to finance a stadium investment.
Having to vacate the Nou Camp whilst the redevelopment takes place.

Selling off various assets to raise cash short term.

Ambitious, expensive  marquee signings, many of which have failed.

They're in danger of falling foul of La Liga and UEFA.
It's a salutary lesson in how not to run a club and a warning about being careful what you wish for.

Don't spend what you haven't got.
Don't borrow what you can't afford to repay.
Don't sell cash generating assets to shore up matters short term, leaving yourself at risk long term.

Barca are a basket-case but too big to fail. I remember Balague publish a similar piece 12 or 24 months ago (probably both). Like Yanited, they've made some awful decisions on and off the pitch over the past decade but their legacy standing means they're never too far away from getting it right again.

My seats in the lower holte have been moved a block over - from L4 to L5. Must be a worse view?

I assumed it was to generate extra capacity, if not - what the hell have they moved us for?
