New offer, 'The Bogs'.

Enjoy a premium pre-match experience in a converted space that was previously used by the untermensch to relieve themselves.

There's a cocktail bar in Sheffield called Public, that is in the old gents bogs under the Town Hall.

I'd be fine if I was unaware but once I found out you wouldn't convince me that I couldn't detect a very faint odour....

I went in determined to smell something horrible convinced, like you, that I would. I was almost disappointed to find it ok. And the drinks were good.

It seems to me that the fundamental problem with what they are doing is that Heck and his team have clearly been incentivised to generate the maximum return for minimum cost in the short-term.  He knows he won't be here in 5 years time, but presumably will get a nice fat bonus for hitting these short-term targets, so bollocks to the long-term.

Unfortunately, we know all too well that success in football is usually fleeting, and Heck will be long gone by the time we have empty seats again.  In the meantime, however, we will have lost potentially thousands of supporters who you could capture forever by selling them season tickets now.  It's short-termism and the end result is in 10 years time we will still be playing in front of 40k, when we should be transforming the whole future of the club by getting 50k and more in now and forever.
Exactly Pat.  The lack of availability of standard priced seating for current and future fans is the real cost of not doing the North development.

It's been pretty much impossible for anyone to get a ticket in the Holte upper since the opening of Terrace View, as all non ST seats are held back for that, so new fans can't experience this part of the ground, or join season ticket holding mates.

I think its clear that any loss of revenue from a depleted North Stand for 2 seasons would dramatically impact PSR and that we're building revenue as much as we can to (a) let us compete as is and (b) provide wiggle room for redevelopment.
I thought we'd worked out that that wasn't really the case?

To be fair this is exactly what the terrace view is- the space it occupies was previously the largest toilet on the Holte Upper concourse, as well as a smaller one which was mainly used as a smoking area rather than its intended purpose.

After the euphoria of last season the disappointment of the off the field stuff really hits home. I have been staying off here becaue I am just so frustrated at the short-term can kicking that's unfolding.

I will go so far as to say in ditching a proper redevelopment - let's not call what they are doing redevelopment - they are sewing the seeds of our next decline. In five year time we will be further behind clubs who have invested in proper development.

I really find it extraordinary. There is no way they are rebuilding anything after putting more premium in that god awful stand.

It was a lot more than that.  It was also by far the largest bar and all the window area on that level.

The Lower Grounds would seem to be a hard sell for a season ticket to me.  I get it may be ok for the occasional blowout, but how many people would actually want to pay that sort of money for unlimited food and drink before EVERY game?  And then have the same shite concourse and w/c experience as everyone else.  £2.7k to queue for a piss for most of halftime doesn't sound that appealing to me.
The Cells package comes with a lanyard and a pair of waders for HT.

The Cells ?
In the north stand ?

The blurb says original prison cells within the north stand! What’s all that about ?

It’s not clear to me how they’re reducing the number of season ticket holders by 2000 this season? Is this simply from those that haven’t taken the option to renew?
