Getting rid of the Witton and North stand boxes and backfilling with rows of seats will add surely.

Is that what's happening? Even if it is you'd be lucky to get more than 500 seats in their place.

How many seats do you think they'd get in those spaces, given they'd have to be at the correct angle to the pitch? Fewer than are already in there.

Must admit I thought that was the plan.  Extra seats and more crucially can be sold in ones and twos rather which is easier than selling a whole box.

I壇 also guess the other blue rectangles (slightly outside the stands - are they new?) are where they値l be fattened up with prawn sandwiches, rather than in the boxes.

They're the corner boxes between Holte and Trinity and between Trinity and North Stand. Been there Donkeys years.

Have you experienced the concourse up there.

Yes, I知 in P4 and it is a genuinely dreadful experience but the view from the upper Witton is great. I had assumed there would be access to GA+ facilities but obviously not.

Yes, I知 in P4 and it is a genuinely dreadful experience but the view from the upper Witton is great. I had assumed there would be access to GA+ facilities but obviously not.

There is no way through. Unless you start diamond drilling a way down to the lower concourse/box area.

Would you mind outlining what the main points are?

Broadly:

• All indications are that we're staying at Villa Park for the forseeable, with the intention of building some kind of Man City style sports village in/around Villa Park
• The people being brought in on the board from Atairos are basically people who've worked with NSWE and/or Chris Heck before
• Rather than look at Atairos' background, as they're a fairly new company, it's better to look at what those individuals specifically have done. There's a couple of them who come from a background of building large stadia, and a couple from a transport/infrastructure background (as in building transport infrastructure)
• It's unlikely they'd have been brought in if NSWE felt we were particularly restricted by staying at Villa Park
• In terms of what they do in the US, there's a big focus on building an 'experience' in the area (for want of a better word!), e.g. retail offerings, etc

I dunno, but it left me feeling rather positive about the whole affair.  I do expect that we'll end up being gouged on prices though.

Where are on earth are they going to build that?! The Etihad campus is on about 80 acres of land. The bit the actual stadium is on is another 90 acres. And in that 170 acres there's still a fair amount that's undeveloped. The total Villa Park land area is about 16 acres, and it's surrounded by residential streets and terraced houses, as we know.

You'd maybe got a couple of table tennis tables in, but not much else!
