Isn’t there a high water table underneath VP that would make this a non starter?
It's a non starter anyway. If you add more rows of seats at the front of the stands you're effectively making the pitch area smaller. Even a few extra rows would take off about 5 metres all round. That would only work at somewhere like West Ham where there's acres of room all round the pitch.

I walked straight from ground level to my seat at Barcelona,  and i sat around the middle rows. Was very surprised how low the pitch was.

Happens to a small extent already at VP. Ground level on Trinity Road side comes in at bottom of middle tier. Must have levelled the pitch at an early stage.

There’s quite a gap between the front of the Witton Lane stand and the pitch isn’t there?

Now that ST have been notified I'm a bit surprised the club hasn't announced exactly what they are planning.

I think they are hoping we just forget that we had a big redevelopment planned and that quietly tidying up the North Stand will suffice.

They rightly need to flog the 150 years thing first. I’d guess they have a strategy on how it will all be announced in order to optimise the news.

…assuming there is something to report of course.

Yeah, we want to know everything all at once. But as they're now actively trying to market and 'sell' the club to us and also general fans, we will have to get used to everything coming out slowly and with maximum impact.

I am not sure that all season tickets have been notified? I sit in Upper North T4, near the front. People not far from me have had letters, but others have not and right now we have no idea if our seats are still there next season.

I'm the front of T1 and not had a letter as of yet.

On one of the photos of the seats being moved it looked to me like they are reprofiling where the stairs are positioned, so perhaps only a handful are going but a bunch more being created?

They must have notified everyone, didn’t they also follow up with emails. Maybe send them an email to double check?

You’d like to think they would update us on the designs/plans, but why am I not surprised.

There always used to be quite a camber on the villa park pitch noticeable when you sat at pitch/eye level and the players on the far side you could only see from waist up. I imagine they've levellled that off to snooker table standards now.
