Wasn't really arsed about this game anyway. It'll be a good outing for the youngsters though. Hope they just go out there and enjoy it - whatever happens, they look a promising bunch.

I'm unclear on the details in all of the situations, but could youth teams have been fielded in those Premier League games involving Fulham etc that got called off for Covid? If yes, why did they go ahead? Is this a tacit acknowledgement from the authorities that, fuck it, who cares about the Cup?
I think it is fuck the cup. It would be interesting to see what happens on Wednesday. Surely none of first team squad will be available?

Our side hasn't been announced yet but this is the Liverpool line up. If fucking Klopp ever moans about subs and player tiredness again. He knows exactly what we have to put out and he has still selected a number of top players. Wanker

Kelleher, N. Williams, R. Williams, Fabinho, Milner, Henderson, Wijnaldum, Jones, Mane, Minamino, Salah. Subs: Alisson, Thiago, Firmino, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Origi, Shaqiri, Robertson, Phillips, Alexander-Arnold

Aye, it seems like the only logical explanation.

Different rules for the Premier League and FA Cup. I guess it boils down to the Cup needing a set of common rules from qualifying through to the final, and the timetable doesn't allow the second qualifying round between Lower Featherington Athletic and Huxtable Wanderers to be postponed. So nor can Villa - Liverpool be.

The league can be kicked down the road, and if we're playing seven games in 25 days in March then so be it.

The game against Spurs will almost certainly be off.

Klopp has turned into a proper arsehole just lately. I don't expect them to put out a weak side but fuck me, after all that moaning about games and tiredness.

He can go fuck himself.

If one of our young lads was to 'mistime' a tackle on Salah it really wouldn't be the end of the world
