I think the opportunity to give them another pasting, given they're probably going to make changes, should not be given up.

Go full strength, smash them again, and they'll be shitting bricks when they have to play us again in the league at Anfield later in the year.

  • I just love Aston Villa.
Given the announcement of a covid outbreak at Bodymoor it seems unlikely that this game will be going ahead.

Does this mean we are out?

As long as we can cobble together 14 players it will go ahead, won’t it.
FA cup rules different to the league.

Derby are playing their U23s and U18s as their entire squad is out, so I think so.

We might be getting more of a look at some of our babbies than we'd anticipated.

It will surely be a case of if we have 14 players who have not been in close proximity with anyone who has tested positive, otherwise they will have to isolate aswell. Given the fact that they've said it's a large number, it seems unlikely we will be playing tomorrow.

Presumably the youth players and coaches are in a separate bubble.

Will be unimpressed if we aren't allowed to play Newcastle when they have Covid but they force us to play when we have it.

Doesn't make it any less nonsensical.

Anyway, main thing is hope that as few people as possible are affected, and those that are make a swift recovery with no unpleasant long-term effects.

Oh, I agree. But these things never go in our favour.
It’s media darlings Liverpool, we’ll be made to play I’m sure.

COVID at Bodymoor.

Postponement, cancellation or 'play the kids' ?

Yeah last thing we want is anyone getting Long Covid or being badly affected by it.
