The anger is more because the penalty was more needed by them. I fkn hate them
Yep. The intensity of our play that forced the equaliser was astounding, I thought they were for the taking.

That photo says it all.  Sycophantic, no class whatsoever.

I think the arms on him is what made them give it.

It's amazing then that more penalties are not awarded for "arms" on players at corners or long throw-ins (into the box), which happens in every single pl game, with players often going down because of the contact. It seems justification of that penalty is at scraping the barrel stage.

What is Ferguson's official capacity at Man U? Nowhere else do you see former managers in attendance due to Covid restrictions.
Edit:
I've just googled it and he's an honorary football director whatever that is so I suppose he gets to attend games. But fraternising with the officials like that just smacks of them still being starstruck by him even after all these years. His spectre still hangs over Old Trafford by the look of that photo and he's still influencing referees.

We commented the same when he was shown on camera - what was he doing there? He is not essential staff for the game to take place. He was a spectator who could (& should) have watched from home, especially as he is in a vulnerable group.

He was wearing a mask in the stands (with empty seats all round him) but quite happy to take photos without one with the match officials. With matches being postponed due to covid outbreaks it will be interesting to see what happens when manurinal play l'pool in a few weeks.

Do we know for sure that the photo was taken after Friday night's game and not just a stock image?

Exactly.  We were playing in black, so that's not the kit the referees were wearing!

I think Dalglish goes to games at Anfield in the same capacity.  That photo of Fergie looks a few years ago, he looks younger and the Premier League badge in the photo looks older.

Oh, and Expedia sponsored the ref kit in 2012, so that's just the eight years ago then!

Expedia sponsored the shirts 8 years ago.

Edit: Bollocks, just seen Risso was a bit quicker in googling the obvious.
