We can't keep taking a touch before shooting, and expect to score against a team set up to defend. Got to be quicker in thought and deed.

I wonder what match this BBC  chap was watching:
Quote
They (Burnley) played their part in an end-to-end thriller at Villa Park, Martinez made to work hard for his latest clean sheet.

There won’t be an easier 3 points this season than that.

Dunno Liverpool at home was easier.

I listened on the radio as driving home from work.  The commentators were waxing lyrical about it being the best nil nil ever, Lee Hendrie included.  Sounds like we missed a fair few and El Ghazi had 8 shots of his own.  Disappointing not to beat a side in the relegation zone but I guess this is the sign of a side in the making, we were also missing a fair few players.  Positives are we didn't lose, and kept a clean sheet.

Just checked and we're actually a point better off after 11 games than in two of the MON 6th placed seasons which surprised me so we're doing o.k I'd suggest.

Just been an odd season and that will continue for a few more months I think.

This is exactly it.

I really enjoyed the game.

That's a big issue with Jack as he insists on an extra touch rather than shooting or perhaps passing sooner.

Its not that his skill isn't appreciated by me but I would like to see him shoot a lot more or play faster.

On one touch too much  not so much Jack but others were guilty particularly Traore for his big chance. I mean what the fuck was that? He dealt with it like your average pub player.

I haven't read through all 15 pages so I don't know if anyone saw when a Villa player was about to take a throw in and a passing Burnley player reached out and knocked his arm. What a shower of niggly, dirty, shite.

Impossible not to be frustrated to have not won that but equally impossible not to marvel at how far we’ve come in a relatively short time. We’re heading in the right direction.

We broke the losing run of home games yay. And I thought El Ghazi played well. Certainly offers more than Hourihane.

Ridiculous game, the number of times we got through in an inside channel and fucked it right up. 2 points dropped.

Still, encouraging general play considering the injuries to our best two midfielders. On another day we'd have won by 10. Life goes on.

This.
