I've never been a fan of the match threads either. Dont really get watching a game then jumping on here to say 'for fucks sake (insert players name)'. Besides, they can be full of anger.

I still think that was a good performance. We absolutely battered another Premier League team and are justifiably disappointed not to have taken all three points.

It's frustrating, sure, but considering it in the context of the past few seasons, I won't be going to bed unhappy tonight.

We are increasingly looking like a properly good side.

Positives positives.

Last season it took us 19 games to get to 18 points and 24 games to get to 25.  19 off 11 isn’t bad therefore.

Wolves are accruing at a similar rate, 20 points from thirteen goals.

For me it's a bit like being at the match. When something goes wrong there's usually someone shouting out some stupid comment. Difference is it's gone in an instant whereas it's in writing on here. On a slightly different note I'd love to know how many times only 2 minutes injury time has been added in a Premier league game? It's always 4 or more. Ollie's injury alone must've took 2 minutes.

I thought that to be fair there could’ve been another 90 minutes and we wouldn’t have bloody scored.

Frustrating night but it happens. Played well and should have won by 3 at least.

Martinez 8 nothing to do apart from one top class save
Elmo 6 just doesn’t have the athleticism anymore
Hause 7 did his defending well and a threat in the other box
Mings 7 similar to Hause
Targett 6 sloppy first half but improved
Nakamba 4 a complete passenger, offers nothing with the ball which restricts our ability to play out from the back
McGinn 7 started slowly but got massively better as the game progressed
Traore 6 very in and out, moments of quality and crap/lazy play
Grealish 9 good as ever but still a question on his finishing
El Ghazi 6 played well but let’s gloss over the finishing
Watkins 7 led the line well but needs a goal

Smith 7 can only really question the lack of subs and try to change something to create that chance,

All of that said am hugely encouraged by how we’re playing, just need to convert it to goals.

Shame about the finishing but we deserved the three points, with so many forced changes to the team I didn't expect us beforehand to have so many chances. Some of the shooting was woeful but we also lacked a bit of luck.

I hope Burnley go down with the negative dinosaur football style they have under Dyche.

I'm sure if you look back at the 3 MON seasons when we finished 6th we'd have had this number of points after 11 games, perhaps more than say 07/08 when we actually didn't win many at start of that season.

It's mad looking at the table and seeing us in the bottom half still when with the points ratio we're on course for around 62 points this season which is usually 6th ot 7th in the table.

Not playing the Newcastle game when it should've been played is distorting things as even just a point from that like tonight and we'd be 9th which is more of a reflection of how we've played so far.

In fairness El Ghazi was playing well until I said he was playing well. So I take some responsibility for the 946 chances he missed after that.

I'm not watching the next game as don't have BT. However I can't promise I won't be on here posting "have we definitely scored or is there any possibility of VAR nonsense", like I do every time my phone dings to tell me we have scored in a game I'm not watching.
