Watkins is looking like Wesley did last season.  Lack of service/support? Or just not that good?

I would put it down as a bad day at the office for him and the the team in general because Watkins has impressed me so far this season.

Yeah I'm not going to write off any of our outfield signings as they showed enough in first four games but premier league is unforgiving for new players and now they're finding it tougher.

Watkins is a good player but little concerned he tends to snatch at shots a bit.

Think what the last two games have shown is it would've been nice to have an experienced backup striker on the bench to put on at 1 or 2 down.

You can see DS dosen't really fancy Davis to do anything once we're 3 down. Seems we only put him on in games we're drawing or leading so he can hold the ball up a bit and draw some fouls.

That's something we need to fix in January.

Wesley shouldn’t just be written off.

I agree. Could be just what Watkins needs.

Sadly they won’t get on the pitch at the same time because Dean won’t change his system.

Another save from a Trez effort

I like him. He never gives up. Deserves a goal today.
agree
We are not playing to his strengths

Much better second half.

The drama really isn’t necessary, onwards and upwards.

We've been murdering them this half but they've still had the ball in our net twice.

Get Luiz off.

Probably his worst game for six months but we don't want him out for months with a ripped hamstring.

Watkins looks lightweight and Barkley annonymous. Both very disappointing so far

Barkley has continued his track record of having one good game and then a string of anonymous ones.  Probably why Chelsea were happy to let him go

Why not bring on Hourihane or Davis?

The only players coming out with any credit are Martinez (no chance with any of the goals), grealish and to some extent trez and luis

Smith appears to be unwilling to take off the under performing big name players.

Yes our defensive strength and discipline, as a team, has completely disappeared.

Once, scoring when you're a yard or 2 offside means fuck all.

I think they'll both be here long after he's gone.

Certainly makes a rod for his own back does Dean

We need a global pandemic to allow us to reset and sort out the defence.

Watkins had Benrahma and Mbuemo bombing up with him last season.  Give him the same support and he’s good enough.

Exactly. I can’t believe people giving him stick. He has no support. Like to see him upfront with Davis at Arsenal

Benrahama is better than Grealish now?

Tammy had no problem scoring in this set up (o.k just the championship but I'm pretty confident he'd have hit 15 for us in premier league).

We just need another credible striker option in the 18 given Davis isn't trusted once we go more than a goal down. Amazed we didn't get one in after we unloaded Samatta.

Karlan Grant would've been a good pick up given how he took his first goal for WBA the other day.
