He's not had much luck with injuries, didn't we have someone else fairly recently who walked off the pitch unaided, only to be ruled out for months?

Yeah that one was really weird and while I realise everyone is different, the lack of pain he showed was quite something.  Anyone who has done their ACL knows it hurts like a mother.

A few have said that he won’t last 90 minutes, but I would rather he start to help get some control of the game rather than bringing him on to chase it.

I’d agree with this. He’s one of those players who can look after the ball, he does make a few mistakes but tends to read the game well and can pick passes. He won’t last 90 minutes if he starts but that’s what Bogarde is for surely?

I'd probably play him in the 'no.10' role for the time being and move Rogers back out on the left.  What he'll be like starting is another question, but we've got to try something different.

A word for Ross. What an excellent professional. Very good today. He’s had injuries and demons, and we’ve looked after him in the background. But he’s a steadying influence and someone if he can stay fit will be important down the stretch.

Agreed, was really good today and I am very relaxed when I know he's in the team.  Was good next to Onana today and just keeps things ticking over.  Great strike from him too, shame he didn't score.
