He's not had much luck with injuries, didn't we have someone else fairly recently who walked off the pitch unaided, only to be ruled out for months?
Kamara when he did his ACL.

Yeah that one was really weird and while I realise everyone is different, the lack of pain he showed was quite something.  Anyone who has done their ACL knows it hurts like a mother.

A few have said that he won’t last 90 minutes, but I would rather he start to help get some control of the game rather than bringing him on to chase it.

I’d agree with this. He’s one of those players who can look after the ball, he does make a few mistakes but tends to read the game well and can pick passes. He won’t last 90 minutes if he starts but that’s what Bogarde is for surely?

Put the best team on the pitch from the start. Barkley is in our best team right now, comfortably.
