Romano saying Emi is open to moving to MU.

So looks like this is happening.

He was obviously going but if he goes there he destroys any legacy he has with us.

I'm so sick of this. Just go abroad for fucks sake.

Has he been sacrificed or has he asked to leave is the question?
I don’t know why I’m saying that as I’m in full agreement. Anywhere but there.

£45m and £200k a week off our wage bill could solve the issues we have. The fans love Emi, not sure Unai is (or has ever been) so enamoured.

I’m sure we’ll have to spend a very large chunk of that on a replacement. After June 30th of course.
Maybe he has been told we won’t stand in his way if he wants to go but again, anywhere but there.

It’d be annoying if he went there, but ruin his legacy? Really? We’ve almost certainly had his best years and he’s been massive in our turnaround. He’s been one of the top goalkeepers in the world after the last few years and played here.

The other thing, whatever your feelings I can guarantee you the worst thing you could do against him is boo him.

I doubt he’ll go there in any case.

I hope it smokes out a couple of other potential clubs to come in for him.

Surely he'd rather go somewhere like Napoli, who seem to be fairly flush these days. Guaranteed CL football, a heroes welcome, and a rather nice lifestyle. Don't know if Napoli actually need a new keeper, mind.

If we get £45m for a keeper who has arguably been on the slide for 12 months and is 33 next birthday, having had the best 5 years of him, we've done ok. Of course if we replace him well.

But not to bloody United. I would imagine the fee may get inflated up for PSR as we sign Garnacho or Rashford.

I’m not that bothered where he goes. Just bothered he goes, hope he stays. If he goes there it’s a step down now though. It’s not like the old days where they got there to improve their career.

If he goes there it would be disappointing , but these players have no loyalty or allegiance , its just a job and about money.

the irony of his last game for us gifting them 3 points in effect . (if it happens of course) . (he wasn't alone in that shitshow either) .

I’m amazed he seems to be so cheap, keepers seem to have a bit more longevity than the others who have to run around a bit more.
