He's getting better and better with the ball at his feet but there's been quite a lot of goals where he's got a solid hand or part of his body to the ball but deflected it in or on to another part of him and it. Maybe his reflexes haven't been as sharp?

Would be interesting to know if Emi prefers Cutler or the current one.

I'd be more interested to hear what defence especially central defenders he prefers in front of him.  A settled one would be my choice but to achieve that we will probably need an upgrade.

The world’s number 1 is he chuff. Many of this parish think he’s superb, I’m not one of them.

He’s having an off season and I’ve said this before, it’s primarily his decision making. I don’t know if it’s changing defensive combinations, or something in himself, but he is not looking at all assured and it’s translating through the team.

He’s not been quite as good as previously but he’s nowhere near the biggest problem we have. Couldn’t have done anything about any of those goals today.

He hasn't been as good this season especially the second half but he's allowed a dip in form. He's got to get back to where he was though.

On the plus side, I doubt anyone will be buying him this summer  8)

I have not seen it since the game but I thought the first goal was saveable.

Have another look at it when you get the chance CL.  I was a well struck shot.  Really good goal.

His footwork was terrible for it. Had to agree with Rooney at half time (better pundit than manager). Kamara awol for both goals, no screen in front of our defenders.

Billy the Fish would have saved it, nqat.

Him being in goal probably caused the penalty miss AND I think would have saved it if it was on target. Although the way the season has been going it probably would have been pushed onto the post, cannoned back off onto Emi and in.

But three runs through and three goals (albeit lucky was one chalked off).

I was right behind the net and there was no way that was saveable. I thought goal as soon as it left Eze's foot. It had a vicious curve on it and was hit with enormous force.

Is Martínez actually the only person in the squad who has no effective competition for his spot?

Morgan Rogers - he will be continually picked no matter what.

I dont see what Emi has done wrong.  Not making world class saves isnt a reason for being dopped.  He is one of the best in the world and has demonstrated that plus has been a leader which we do seem to lack.

He may have let in some shots that he could have saved - but I cant think of many GK past or present I would rather have come out in our next game.
