I see the wetlands centre had a spotted red shank in summer plumage recently. Not mega rare, but if you need it for your year-list it’s worth nipping up for.

A wonderful sight over here, but not everyone is keen on its song in the wild.

There's a really good owl sanctuary there.

🎙 Emi Martínez: "I had an argument with Mikel Arteta, my coach at Arsenal, and I told him that my dream was to play for the national team but that's why I had to go."

"He didn't like it but he understood it, he told me that he would give me a departure bonus and Aston Villa bet on me, thanks to this club I could achieve my goal."

Not sure when he said this.

I would say early next week. That will be three weeks break for Konsa, Martinez, Duran, and Watkins.

The Chelsea lad who posted the singing video was back with them this week in the US. Not sure how much he played compared to Martinez, but I'd assume he'll be on a similar schedule.

France vs Argentina in the Olympics; EMI will be champing at the bit, not being involved in that.

It's good Martinez isnt anywhere near . Last thing want any more controversy
Surprised Argentina are not sanctioned and to be banned from this football tournament as an punishment but also an education. Especially playing in France be unsavoury and not olympic attitude by the hosts in response.
I wish people could just get on.

If Emi was anywhere near it you'd be telling us how much of an embarrassment he was to our club and how Olsen should replace him in August for the game at West Ham.

Number 23!
Emiliano Martínez has changed his shirt number to 23
"I won all the trophies with the national team with the number 23. It’s the day my boy was born. I want to bring silverware to the fans, to Villa. I'm really superstitious to be fair."
