Hopefully going. Then we get a proper striker in.

Coops level of trolling. At least in how nonsensical it is.

Smirker's 8), definitely not a troll.

*Just a little misguided on this occasion.

I hope he stays, but if we're offered fee of £60m, then we've got a big decision to make.

*I'd probably take it given his age, and my implicit trust in Unai.

I dunno about 60m, but a bit more than that and I'd take it. It would be sensible financial and squad management.

Nobody will be offering north of £60m for him

If we needed a striker and we was offered Watkins for north of £60mil, I'd probably be underwhelmed, he's done well, but I think he's had his best season for us.,

In his last 3 Premier League seasons he’s been directly involved in 21, 33, and 24 goals respectively. I realise many people being ok with him going are more questioning whether now is the time as opposed to questioning his ability - anyone saying he’s no good is just factually wrong - but that is serious hole to fill. I think he’s the type of player where people will see his value when he’s gone.

really good numbers, and his all round contribution has been crucial in getting us up the league. I think we sell if we get a bid of £50mil+ - and I'd imagine the transfer people have options lined-up.

I’m sure they will - and they’re going to have to do very well to match that output that consistently.

I have a bit of blind trust in the on-pitch dealings at the club in recent times, I probably should know better.

For a player to be better for us than Watkins he would need to never miss a match, score 20+ league goals plus a bunch of cup goals, get a dozen or more assists, be incredibly hardworking and professional in games and training. Year after year after year. Should be easy.

None of that can be true, he doesn’t score every single chance so he must be shite.

Yeah, I reckon that a bid of £50m would be accepted in a heartbeat. But I reckon it'll be bids of £40m and that's the sort of level where there's a bit more of a debate about it.

In the current climate we're not going to get a worthwhile fee (I think £40m is optimistic) and we would struggle to replace him at that level of spend. But I guess his wages are huge and there are better players than him out there (and please don't, because I can't be bothered).
