He worked hard, his off-the-ball movement was good, his touch was shocking and his decision-making in attacks was nowhere near what he'd want it to be. But he's a rabid fucker, genuinely never gives up, and buried a good striker's goal when it counted.

A very Ollie sort of game.

"You see [insert player] the other day, do you think his best moment was the goal he scored?"

"Yes"

"Woah!"

Really difficult to pick his best moment today.

For me it was the header. But it's a tough choice.

What about you lot?

All the times we were able to get up the pitch because of him pinning their centre back for me. But then, those things don’t matter. So must have been the goal, which should stop you behaving like a child. But it hasn’t.

But the trolling life is a lonely one, so I hope it gives you all the pleasure you hope for.

True, the goal is always the best bit. But there were many moments of brilliance. Other than the goal what was your favourite?

Imagine being upset because Villa won and our striker scored. There's sha and Newcastle fans less upset right now.

Fantastic goal from him; awareness and technique superb. As some said on here , he should not think just go for it in every situation.

I'm not upset? I'm buzzing.

Villa  8)

Imagine being upset that someone else is upset when they aren't upset.

It's in the guys head sadly, so best leave him to it.
Nice one Ollie!

The shot that led to the corner. Great strike 😎.

I don't even think Ollie has been that good lately and have said as much, but your reaction is just daft. Either the stats matter or they don't.

Guys, you just cannot win against this. You will never care as little as he does.

7 in 10 is a great record yes.

What's the issue?

Great recent record, great goal today, but was also another shit performance.

Which bit is wrong?

He needs two more to hit double figures in the top flight. Would be the sixth year in a row.

So, genuinely - when people were saying he was playing well in spite of the lack of goals, you said that wasn't good enough. Will you acknowledge that he has at least inverted the issue now (goals without performances), and say which would you prefer he do: play well or score goals?

Unai has realised that we need another CF similar to Ollie. 1. To Challenge him and 2. to give him a rest. Ollie needs that rest
