Think she's a goalie so perhaps we let her play for Derby but can call her back if we have an injury crisis.

Pretty sure it will be a case of Derby letting her play for us, unless we're bunging them a few quid in some way.

It looks like she's cover, so she'll play for them and we can call on her in an emergency.

So who has first dibs?

You do. I think she needs to work on her conditioning before we put her in the first team.

Off the mark for the season with a one-nil win against Sheffield United in the Continental Cup Group Stage yesterday. Jodie Hutton (JODIE HUTTON!) with the only goal.

Thank goodness for that, I was beginning to give up on what little interest I have in them.

Their next 2 matches have been postponed as a player has had a positive test for Covid.

I've just heard that due to a positive Covid test the next two games have been postponed.

I wonder if it was at Bescot or Bodymoor Heath or just picked up elsewhere.

Cor Blimey!

Kind of relieved as the the headline on the BBC text said "Two Villa games off after Covid-19 test" which I thought might derail our title tilt.

Last minute, our 'keeper tips one over the bar. And from the subsequent passage of play we score. 2-0 up, awaiting the whistle on our first win and clean sheet.

Off the mark with a two-nil win at Brighton (well, at Crawley really but against Brighton). Thoroughly deserved, Brighton only had one real chance and we hit the post twice.

Small Heath next, on Saturday. COYVG.

It’s great that you can watch it live on the FA website. Our keeper looks impressive.
