Looks like one of the reasons he was so sure he wanted to come to us was that he's styled himself after Jack.

I think he's a bit more from the Henri Lansbury school of coiffure to be honest.  Hopefully he'll be a bit more use though.

I see him and Guilbert being our right side players.
Bring in Watkins, and we have pace on each side.

Hope this signing gets followed-up by a forward/striker/proven goalscorer who also isn't shit.

Welcome to the greatest club on the planet Matty - please be more John Robertson / Kenny Burns than Angela.

Nice one. Think it is a position we needed to strengthen so good stuff.

Need a replacement LB and Striker.
That's your wishlist after last seasn - rightback, leftback & striker?

That is the highest priority list. A wish list is Messi, Van Dijk and MBappe.

LB Taylor is nowhere near good enough anymore and Targett is a good back up option at best. Striker is a must.

Are there higher priorities currently? There are certainly other areas to improve for sure.

I love AEM’s contribution since he’s joined us. Solid, dependable, no fuss, unlike many recent signings. I fear though, that he’s on the wane and has a limited future at the top level. He’s good as a sub, or for an occasional start, and will attract interest from lower division clubs... unlike much of our deadwood who no one else wants either.

I wouldn’t have picked RB as an immediate transfer priority, but signing Cash makes a lot of sense for the long term plan. I think it’ll be good for Guilbert’s development too. At times, he will need the heat taken off him, and I’d much rather a Cash/Guilbert combo than AEM as a back up. Cash can also challenge for the wing spot, which definitely is a transfer priority.

I'd have thought wingers and striker were our absolute priorities, then a solid midfielder.  Fullbacks were more a nice to have but not a key as the forward options.
