I like Guilbert aswell. He does go AWOL at times and hope he stays. Elmo is getting Ona bit now.

If this happens I can see Cash and Guilbert being a very dynamic pair on the right for us.

I wouldn't envisage Guilbert getting a start if Cash signs. After all, Guilbert was Smith's 3rd choice for right back after lockdown, and Elmo was generally more reliable,  so that would indicate where he is in the pecking order.

I like Guilbert.

I do too. For £5m he was a steal. Guilbert and Cash (and possibly still AEH) would be a very good set of right back/right wing back options and would probably both get a decent amount of games.

Anyone else think Kurt Russell when they read that?

I like Guibert as well, doesn't seem to be your average footballer off the pitch either.

I hope this doesn't mean Guilbert is off, as he'll be an absolutely brilliant right back in years to come.

I hope not too.

I'd rather we move Elmo out. He could still do a job for a top half championship team.

Great name, sounds like he should be corner forward for Cork's hurlers.

Indeed except I want Matty to do well although I recently managed to slip a Christy Ring* reference into the Word Association thread.

I like Guilbert too.
Having him and Cash means we have quality x 2 at RB...and Cash could even play a bit further forward, says my Forest supporting mate.

Cash as a wingback or wide in a 343?
