So the City game was part of the game week 1 schedule, when we play them do we have 7 or 9 subs on bench?? No doubt it will be 9 so PL rules will be out of sync again

Very kind of the league to expand our run of difficult games by one

We're be left with a cluster of games  towards the end of the season  - 76/77 revisited.

Imagine a number of home games to be played in May. European football tantalisingly close. Villa Park now back down into the lower tiers of restrictions. 4,000 fans on the Holte cheering them home.

Not really. If the training ground can be re-opened on Saturday we can play at Man. City on Wednesday no problem unless half our squad have long covid, let's hope not though if most of them are looking o.k training round their gardens on insta.

Not sure why the Newcastle match for next Saturday hasn't been announced yet, can only think whichever tv company that is showing it is waiting to see what the FA cup picks are for that day.

Spurs-Everton could very easily be the 5th round of the cup so we can just play whichever one loses on quarter final weekend which will be in mid March.

We should still avoid fixture congestion right at end of the season but obviously can't foresee if other clubs will have outbreaks in next few weeks and it's obviously a big possibility.

I was looking forward to us going above spurs tonight. Instead we could be six points adrift.

So much for everyone saying that we had no midweek games left for the rest of the season! (There's even one in May that has nothing to do with rescheduled fixtures).
