Extra time to get the holiday flab off and more time to embed all our new players!!  8)

That's the way I see it plus we might play Citeh in one of their busier spells. Tough run-in will make winning the league a bit trickier than anticipated.

Sky have already invented the “Pennines Derby” And you wonder why everyone hates them?

Liverpool: situated on an estuary and with the flat lands of west Lancashire and Cheshire to the north and the east.  The nearest prominence that could reasonably be considered as part of the Pennines is probably Rivington Pike some 25 miles east as the liver bird flies.

Still, not like Sky to let England's physical geography get in the way of hyping a Premier League match.

Yep. It's going to be real scrap between the four of us for a Champions League place...

See we've got Wolves away on 12 December, then a week later we're away to Albion, with a midweek home game against Burnley in between.

I hope we’re safe by 24 April! 😮

You say that, but I'm starting to think the best time to play the big boys is either right at the start, before they've got going, or right at the end when they're on the beach.

They aren't, which anyone can see. And yet we still failed to pick up a single point from them last year, eh?

Hopefully we have top 4 buttoned up by then, given that run of six pointers.

We thought last years run in was bad though.  Got to play them all at some point!

No reason why we can't start with 6 points from the first 2 games, before we meet Liverpool. Let's get the points on the board.

We didn't off Bournemouth either, for what it's worth.

But we did against Arsenal and Man Utd, so it wasn't all bad, eh?

As the first 6 games go, it could have been a lot worse. Definitely some winnable games there.
