Could be a really good chance to win the league cup next season. I think most of the top 6/7 will put out similar teams to what Liverpool did v us as they'll have loads of european games in October and November. With the Arsenal win yesterday Spurs have to play three just to get in europa league group stages apparently.
Yeah, weirdly i was thinking the same thing this morning. I think they'll still play it, but there's no danger of clubs competing in Europe putting out anything like full strength sides. It'll still be played, though. I'm confident of that, even though I've nothing to base my confidence on.
